This is since your audience is the whole world, there is no scope for mistake, and if you do one, or write anything that is incorrect, then it will definitely affect the daily paper that you are writing for.
In general, when writing blogs about everything, you have to be cautious of two very simple items, your subject and relation to the whole world. So, whatever occurred in Hawaii that isn’t something major isn’t valuable for general news.
